Rain has been a stylist for over 22 years, and you feel that experience the moment you sit in her chair. Originally from Oakland, CA, she’s been making New York hair more beautiful for the past eight years and we’re so happy she’s here at Sara June.

Rain loves both cutting and coloring. Her balayage and highlights are soft and seamless, her fashion colors are bold and intentional, and her undercut hair tattoos are like wearable art. She’s skilled with short precision cuts, bobs, and wavy to very curly hair, always working with her client’s texture to create movement and balance. She also has a soft spot for vintage styling- from finger waves to victory rolls, and brings that same artistry into every look she creates.

She keeps her skills sharp with ongoing education through Kevin Murphy, Oribe, Davines, and Schwarzkopf, so her clients are always in expert hands.

When she’s not behind the chair, Rain is a plant lover, cat mama, and crafty maker who thrives near any body of water (except the Gowanus).
